E. F. SAN JUAN SUPPLIED ALL THE WINDOWS AND DOORS AND MOST OF THE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR WOOD MILLWORK FOR THIS STUNNING RESIDENCE TUCKED INTO THE RUSTIC PINES AND COBBLED PATHS OF THE WATERCOLOR COMMUNITY OVERLOOKING WESTERN LAKE IN SOUTH WALTON, FLORIDA.
E. F. San Juan supplied all the windows and doors and most of the interior and exterior wood millwork for this stunning residence tucked into the rustic pines and cobbled paths of the WaterColor community overlooking Western Lake in South Walton, Florida.
The teams at Savoie and Sugar Beach also integrated custom barn doors sourced from E. F. San Juan and custom beetle kill pine cabinetry sourced from the owner’s home state of Colorado that complemented our work perfectly. The result is a gorgeous and unique home with a Northwest Florida flair that fits seamlessly into the Gulf Coast lifestyle communities along Scenic Highway 30-A.
CHALLENGES
As with the “In Surf We Trust” residence in Seaside, Florida, the curved stair tower was a focal point of this home’s architecture. Where curves and woodwork are involved, there are many challenges. Fortunately, this home also had an experienced and capable trim installation team to ensure all components were integrated into the project as the architect intended.
SOLUTION
We were able to draw upon experience from projects such as the Seaside residence to fulfill this project’s design intent. The trim carpentry team was integral to the Arcways curved stairway’s successful completion. The beautiful multilevel staircase is a visual treat for anyone standing at the bottom or top, especially accentuated by this chandelier designed by Beautiful Lights, sourced by Sugar Beach Interiors.
