Join us as we take you through the entire space and showcase the full range of our work. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted by beautiful Ipe decking leading to the front entrance. The exterior features Invincia impact-rated doors, custom African mahogany entry doors, and custom African mahogany beams and outrigger columns that make a lasting first impression.
Inside, our craftsmanship continues with custom doors, white oak casings, and a variety of special wood accents that add warmth, character, and timeless beauty throughout the facility. We’re proud to have played a role in creating a space that reflects quality, durability, and exceptional craftsmanship at every turn.
CHALLENGES
The build out of the Seaside Athletic Club presented a unique set of challenges typical of coastal development. Building in a marine environment required careful planning to address corrosive salt air, high winds, moisture exposure, and stringent environmental regulations. Site logistics, material durability, and foundation design were all carefully considered to ensure the facility could withstand the demanding coastal conditions while meeting performance and safety standards. An additional challenge was that the Fitness Center building needed to fit into the overall footprint and aesthetic of Seaside as well as the existing Athletic Club facilities.
SOLUTIONS
We worked closely within Seaside’s architectural standards and collaborated with Jonathan Douglas and Lord & Son Construction on carefully selecting the materials that would fit into that aesthetic while holding up to the elements over time.
