E. F. San Juan is proud to have partnered with Khoury Vogt Architects and Romair Construction on the creation of Omaire Gallery, 30A’s first fine arts gallery and enchanting new addition to Kaiya Beach Resort. The new concept introduces the idea that “it’s less of a destination, and more of a journey,” and our team was honored to contribute to this message. We supplied custom trim, paneling and interior doors, making sure each detail complemented the gallery’s clean, minimalist aesthetic.
CHALLENGES
Omaire Gallery is a journey to enliven the soul, offering an open, airy space filled with natural light and beauty. E. F. San Juan’s challenge was to create custom builds that enhance the architectural curve of the space without detracting attention from the art it was meant to frame. Maintaining visual harmony throughout the space was essential to honoring the gallery’s purpose and architectural intent.
SOLUTION
E. F. San Juan has previously collaborated with Khoury Vogt Architects and brought a shared understanding to the project. E. F. San Juan responded to the gallery’s architectural rhythm by creating custom detailing to follow the subtle curves and clean lines throughout the gallery. We used light natural wood in the space to draw attention to the art, elevating the area without overwhelming. Every piece was integrated to support Omaire Gallery’s vision: to bring new life, new energy, and new sensibilities to the spirit.
