E. F. San Juan joined forces with architect Tom Christ of Christ & Associates and builder BRW Builders of Destin to bring Aspri Villa to life. It is an 6,880-square-foot private residence that embodies the allure of the coveted Alys Beach lifestyle. With its captivated take on Greek and Bermuda-Moorish architecture, the home has quickly become an iconic Alys Beach corner property and a favorite among locals and visitors alike as they stroll through the town. Our contribution included Weather Shield impact-rated glass windows and doors, interior doors, interior trim, and a louvered exterior door in the courtyard, custom-crafted to complement the exquisite design and detail of this property.
CHALLENGES
The villa’s design is defined by its architectural curve, such as softly rounded ceilings or its remarkable arched tower. These features demand extreme attention to detail, especially when creating custom interior trim to complement the home’s graceful curves. Our goal was to create a flawless integration of interior and exterior woodwork that preserves the integrity of its original design. The curved walls also required beautiful custom windows, particularly noticeable on the tower.

With years of experience working with Bermuda-Moorish style homes in Alys Beach, E. F. San Juan approached this project with previous technical knowledge and an appreciation for the artistry of its design. Every detail was planned to complement the villa’s striking architectural elements. With the coastal location, ensuring window and doors would protect from high winds and rain was of the utmost importance alongside making them look good. We worked with our partners at Weather Shield to craft custom impact-rated windows and doors that complement the design and will stand up to the elements. By working closely with Christ & Associates and BRW Builders of Destin, we ensured that no detail was overlooked, delivering high-quality, handcrafted woodwork, designed to elevate the beauty of this one-of-a-kind residence.
