CHALLENGES
Having a home located on the bay, especially in Florida, can be challenging when making sure it’s weather appropriate. Weather Shield provided impact doors and windows all throughout the home. Keeping the performance up but also making sure the aesthetic meets the wants of the homeowner. Another challenge was the custom creation of all of the interior doors.
SOLUTIONS
The Solution for keeping a cohesive look to the home was creating multiple styles of the interior door throughout the home. A few of those were a custom flushed concealed door, woodgrain doors, pocket door frames with soft-close kits, and pocket door converging kits. It helped the home have a modern aesthetic. The concealed doors created a sleek and clean design. And having the soft-close hardware is an outstanding sign of quality. The use of Tectus concealed hinges, which is a European hardware, added to the luxury feel and is invisible from outside.
